Dear Valued Lou Brown Cards Customers

First, I want to thank you for all the years of the loyal patronage you have given us. Without you, we would not have succeeded for so long. We are going on our 23rd year in the industry and our 18th as a distributor. With all the changes in our industry over the past few years, I made a difficult but heartfelt decision that it did not make sense to continue as a smaller independent distributor. I felt that in the best interest of our loyal customers and dedicated employees, that your needs would be better served by partnering up with a larger distributor that can provide you with all of the lines that you need to be successful.

Effective Monday, October 18th, 2010, GTS Distribution will be taking over the wholesale distribution division of Lou Brown Cards. GTS Distribution currently has locations in Northern and Southern California, Arizona, Washington, Hawaii and Georgia. I have personally known the principles, Lloyd Kee and Steve Snyder for over 20 years. These guys care about their customers, our industry and their people and I know that they will continue to provide you with the same service that you’ve become accustomed to at Lou Brown Cards.

With this change, I have agreed to stay on as a consultant to ensure that there is a smooth transition. I am enthused to become a part of such a great organization and I’m really excited about what the future holds. I will also be focusing on growing our retail division, Legends Sports & Games. I’m thrilled to be in our new location in Woodland Mall located just across the street from the now GTS – Midwest distribution facility. I will be in the GTS office daily should you ever have an issue or concern. The facility will continue to be staffed by our long time sales associates, Dan Chandler and Brad Aupperlee as well as our veteran shipper, Walt Underhill. Bob Ruffin will be on the phones to assist.
